We wouldn’t be here without the help, encouragement and support of many people and businesses associated with Swindon
From humble beginnings, our story began back in 1984 when after a successful career in the RAF, Fred Hatcher and his wife Janet Hatcher decided that print was the future and set up Interprint, a high street print company based in Victoria Road, initially offering simple but competitively priced single colour printing. Over the course of the next few decades as Swindon grew the business also blossomed and we subsequently invested in newer leading edge printing technology.
The 1990’s was a period of rapid growth for both Swindon and Interprint, with the Company moving into purpose built warehouses in Rivermead. Print machinery was updated to include the B2 5 colour printing format which remains the same today. At the same time Interprint firmly established there Commercial Print Division to include Large Format and Digital Printing.
Now 34 years on, here we are, still going strong, proud of being based in Swindon and proud of the quality and service we provide. Today, Interprint is one of the leading Litho printers in the UK, working with all types of companies across Swindon and the entire country. In the last 3 decades, things have changed massively within our industry and lots of other things have happened – but these stories will come later. Obviously, we wouldn’t be here without the help, encouragement and support of many people and businesses associated with Swindon and the print industry in general, but most of all we wouldn’t be here without our loyal Swindon customers. Thank you one and all and here’s to the next 30 years.
